2009 New Mexico State Environmental Scan

An environmental scan focused on services and programs serving the population from birth to age eight was created in early 2009. The emphasis was placed on agencies and programs in public as well as the private sector whose work relates to the objectives and performance measures of Project LAUNCH.

Methods used in this scan included:

• Identification of Key Informants
• Interview with Key Informants
• Document Review

The information collected has been categorized into the following six categoires:

1. Early Care and Education
2. Health (Primary and Other)
3. Mental Health and Social and Emotional Health
4. Parent Engagement
5. Out of School Time
6. Systems Development
